'The Spoon Theory'
May. 4th, 2009 09:50 pmThis is an echo post from
ladyallyn's LJ. Please take a moment to read it because it says things so much better than I ever could.
I don't have lupus like the person who writes this. My 'dis-abilties' are more along the lines of FM, Chronic Fatigue and some tasty PTSD left over from both early childhood incidents and the military, But 'The Spoon Theory still applies.
As for me, I still don't accept that I now have to deal with a limited number of 'spoons'. Some days are harder than others. But now, in this piece of writing, I have something that not only I can hold on to when the days are 'one of those' and something I can pass on to help others understand.
